Tips for Guitar Players

If you want to be an excellent guitar player, you will absolutely need a lot of tips from others.

I've got some great methods here to improve your guitar playing skills and help you reach the top. You don't have to be the person with special skills and intellect to become a great guitarist. But you should have these qualities for sure-

- Willingness to put in your heart and soul for guitar and work hard.

- Willingness to take risks by challenging your own skills.

-Always learn new things.
The most important tip is to always try to learn new things and update yourself. Come out of your comfort zone and challenge yourself with difficult riffs, solos, new techniques and so on.
It is highly recommended that you learn it from a tutor than learning it on your own. Believe me, it makes a lot of improvement in your playing.

-Set new goals and try your best to reach them.
Use your practice time in the best possible ways. Do not just waste your time on messing around with your guitar. But always try to learn a new riff, solo or even a whole song, part by part on a daily basis, and also make sure you always do your best to play it.
Also make sure that you start practicing a new stuff in a slow pace and slowly develop the speed, this will develop your finger memory and make your playing perfect, confident and smooth. Do not hurry things.

-Listening is the key to becoming a successful guitarist.
Make sure you listen to the type of music that you love the most and also listen to different styles of music and try to learn them.

-Be with better players.
If possible make friends with guitarists who play better than you and  who are also good listeners and willing to share the time and space with you. It would be useless to waste time on someone who's got some negative attitude, no matter how great he plays.

-Show your guitar playing skills to others.
You could join a band, or directly record an album in the studios. It's up to you where you decide to show your skills. But make sure you play it out for others rather than just for your bedroom walls.

-Share your guitar knowledge with others.
Sharing your knowledge with others is one of the best services that you can do to the society. Let others also learn what you have learned. That way you will learn new things and also refresh your knowledge regularly.

-Always be positive.
A positive attitude is very important for your success. So believe in your talents and be true to yourself. There may be a thousand of people trying to pull you back or let you down. Do not ever listen to them. Always try to be with those people who likes and supports you.

-Use the way that really works for you, this way you will enjoy practicing and playing guitar and won't feel bored at all.

If you develop these qualities, then nothing can stop you from reaching your goal. No one is born with skills, you need to develop and improve them.

                                    Hope you enjoy!

Acoustic Guitar

Acoustic guitars date back to the 16th century. Over the course of 100 years, they became the most popular guitar instrument. Acoustic guitar is played all around the world, making it the most common played guitar instrument. It is the type of guitar that the music teacher will recommend for beginners because you don't really have to know how to read music. Once you've learned acoustic guitar, you will have lots of options of guitar: electric guitar, classical guitar, and etc.

Acoustic guitars have a basic design, including a head, neck, body and six strings. However, there is a wide variety in the styles of this type of guitar. The differences in strings and style of body give each guitar its special sound. Acoustic guitars can be played with or without amplifiers, that is an advantage for the beginners because they can decide that if they want the amplifier or not. Top-quality acoustic guitars have bodies, backs and sides that made of solid wood.

Acoustic Guitars are really similar to classical guitars, but they are not the same. Acoustic guitars have steel strings and thinner neck. A steel-stringed acoustic guitar produces rich, long-lasting notes. A nylon-string guitar(for example classical guitar) is less rough on the fingertips and has a softer tone.  It is the the most versatile guitar instrument that plays different styles of music: classical, jazz, rock, pop, country, and punk music. It is an ideal instrument for beginners because playing it does not require you to use lots of accessories.

Video Time~
This is one of my favourite guitar music named Birds Poem, played by acoustic guitar~ It's from an anime named Air. The original one was played by piano and violin. I think the person who played this changed some of the parts from the original music. However, it's still so awesome! I think he played much better than the original one(my very own opinion).

     Hope you enjoy!

Bass Guitar

The bass guitar(also called electric bass,or simply bass) is a stringed instrument played primarily with the fingers or thumb, by plucking, slapping, popping, tapping, thumping, or picking with a plectrum(often known as a pick).Since the 1960s, the bass guitar has largely replaced the double bass as the bass instrument in the rhythm section. Bass guitars can play many styles of music, including rock, metal, pop, punk rock, country, blues, and jazz. It is often a soloing instrument in jazz, funk, and some rock and metal styles.

A bass player may rest the thumb on the top edge of one of the pickups or on the side of the fret-board. The thumb can also be rested loosely on the strings to mute the unused strings.

Most bass players stand while playing, although sitting is also accepted, particularly in large ensemble settings, such as jazz big bands. Some bassists switch position between standing or seated playing. It is a matter of the player's preference as to which position gives the greatest ease of playing and what a bandleader expects.

Bass guitar is similar in appearance and construction to an electric guitar, but they are not the same. Bass guitars usually have four or five strings with longer and thinner neck, and electric guitars have six strings.  Just same as the electric guitar, bass guitar is plugged into an amplifier for live performances. In music, electric and bass guitar are being responsible for different parts. Electric guitars usually responsible for mid-range and treble parts, and bass guitars usually responsible for the bass part, that's why it called bass guitar.

Video Time~
I wasn't really interested about bass guitar so I can't really recommend my own favourite bass guitar music, but I found a pretty good bass solo on YouTube, hope you guys would like it! ·w·
